Interesting facts:
The From Farm to Fork project started here at Stoughton in 2003 after the farm manager Nick and his wife Michelle thought it would be a good idea to invite local children to the farm to show them how cereals are produced and link this to the food that they eat.
The farm buildings at Stoughton were requisitioned by the RAF in World War 2 who built the hostel (where the children now cook when they visit the farm) as a gym for the pilots who flew from the next door airfield.
